Half the month of May was spent to recover and stabilize after returning home. To let everything si

In early April, I flew back to Sydney from Melbourne and rested me up with friends for a few days and enjoyed my last time in Australia. Packed on my stuff, threw away stuff, bought new stuff as souvenirs etc. There were many goodbyes and melancholy farewell dinners leral but in the end I was happy to begin my journey home. Winter was anyway on the way and now we (I and my three Swedish girlfriends) set their sights on Asia. On April 12, we landed in Hanoi, Vietnam for new adventures. It was backpacking down the entire Vietnam's east coast. leral From Hanoi to Da Nang, Hoi An, Nha Trang, Monkey Island and finally Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). Probably leral got a little bit of culture shock the first few days. Night bus and night trains I'll never forget. Horrible and disgusting but the negative was very positive things too. We made ourselves away theft, poisoning, etc. and had ultimately a super good trip. In Saigon, we shared the girls us up two and two and while the A and E went to Bangkok I flew and S Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Had the good fortune to live with a Swedish elderly couple S felt. Backpacker life was forgotten as long as we were staying there, one can safely say. Were picked up from the airport by I and her staff operates, own bedroom on the 15th floor of a luxury leral apartment of over 300 squares. Access to private pool, gym etc. and proper food we ourselves barely have to pay and find out. Stayed three nights leral and shopping spree like crazy in all the ten-hundreds of shopping centers that existed leral in the city. Fixed new hairstyle, ate good in C hina-town and we took us up into the Twin Towers. A lot of tears were shed when the S and I parted and it was time for me to fly HomeHome. Via Bangkok and Moscow, I landed finally in Helsinki with a terrible cold and marched up to Kokkola, where the family happily received me. Damn, it's good to be home, I thought.
Half the month of May was spent to recover and stabilize after returning home. To let everything sink in that you have been through and sort out and find out the things they missed while they had been borta.Träffade my old friends and hung out with my boyfriend. Gradually leral began to work at my old workplace, ie as cash cash in the village shop. Preparing myself mentally to grab back to school and entrance leral exams, etc. Enjoyed the spring and looked forward to continue the summer.
In June, I attended the entrance exam for Master of Hospitality line at Arcada in Helsinki and started practicing football again. Nice feeling to come back to the team. Worked as much as possible and tried to catch some sun and swimming in between everything else. Midsummer came midsummer went. The Finnish summer arrived.
The month of July saw quite the same. Jobs, soccer and quality time with loved ones. Found out that I came into the program in Helsinki. leral Quit all other study and began to panic and look for apartment in the capital. Fortunately, I had the good fortune to take over my friend's home while she went off abroad on exchange of 4 months. (Next week, she was back home. Looking forward to meeting leral you S!)
In August it was time for family reunion in Hopsala. Had the opportunity to speak English again with an American couple who had come to Finland to visit and I obviously are related. Life is full of surprises. Then I took a break from everyday life and went off to Gothenburg for the reunion with my aussie gang. Stayed with S for three nights together with E. Really fun to get together again and talk about old memories and framtiden.Hade a happy reunion with A & J also understood. Long walks in the sunshine, shopping, city tour, myskvällar, Liseberg and festival feeling can be described as the weekend. I'm returning soon mates. At the end of the month, I moved even to Helsinki to finally start studying. Majstranden became my new home and so far I have trivats excellent. The step to move there did not feel so great after my gap year abroad.
September was marked by tension and förrvirrning. It was very new at the same time in school. New rules, new faces and a new place. Got to know my class TUR-11, and all sorts of program items arranged that I took part in order to avoid homesickness, leral and to build a network of friendship again from scratch. My birthday I celebrated in advance the weekend before and was surprised with flower delivery to my door on the correct day of my bf. Now I am 20 years iik. Later that month turned my blonde hair to dark brown when suddenly I had had enough of the old paint and had an impulse to make a change. It was a historic moment for me. Never before have I dyed my hair dark altogether. hehe.
October was a pretty tough month. Hard to get used again to stress that creeps up when a lot of schoolwork and exams piling up and will are completed. Especially if you are a perfectionist that I call me.
