Alex Israel never had one class with Adam at Newtown High School, who both live in the same area. "You could say that he was a child prodigy," said Israel told CNN, adding that he never talked with Adam since junior high. "He's very quiet, he keeps everything to himself." Other residents in Newtown who knew Adam said that they never thought that Adam did such a terrible act. Former bus driver, Marsha Moskowitz told CNN affiliate WABC that Adam is "a very good boy, very polite" just like his brother. "It is surprising to know that family," he said. "You can not understand what happened."
