I'll never forget the expression on my aunt's face as my cousin brother pulled hat off his younger brother, whom I had previously played hairdresser with 1st floor of my childhood home. It was Christmas Eve 1990, I was 5 years and it is one of the few memories that go as far back. For let me say this - my aunt was not exactly hair style pleasantly surprised by my development of the neat and family photo suitable hairstyle that she had paid dearly in an adult salon expert. I clearly had exceeded a limit to how realistic a game must be for a 5 year old.
It is for children ... At the salon Stone has children in the days leading up to the winter holidays could get your hair cut for free - of children. This performance is part of the festival LiveArt for Children, which takes place on Nikolaj hair style during the winter holidays. The festival calls itself 'the world's first performance festival for children' and offers activities such as "sign a performance", "building a cave" and "eat one froze buttons to". Services for children I would meet at the hair salon Stone with a friend who needed a trimming and was not afraid to leave the scissors at a 10-year-old. Button, I ventured my way up the stone steps to the small salon by Nikolaj Plads before Omar Abdel-Majid, 11 years from 4.U on Sønderbro School, welcoming me into the salon and ask me to take a seat in front of the mirror. There is a significantly higher noise levels than in the salon where I usually get bleached curls. Omar has now had four rocky customers, but it was not the rock art, which proved to be a challenge. "There was a lady here with a lot mustache. So it was a little hard not to look at it. Childish efficiency through the windows into the salon Stone could well see overwhelming chaotic. But no newcomers in the salon as well as potential customers from the street feel neglected. Eva Verity, from the research-art hair style atelier Mammalian Diving Reflex says that cutting adult hair is often one of the things that children mention when asked what they should not be for adults. "We cut a lady who was really happy with the new hairstyle, we had given her. She said that she actually always been called 'complaint lady' with her hairdressers. For she always seems that they are doing it wrong, "says Oliver Lund, age 11, from 4.U on Sønderbro School, proudly. Not so much gossip hair style I have bad reached to answer questions from many curious young hairdressers where I come from, and observe how elegant people being directed around the small salon before my acquaintances Kasper Stensgaard Sørensen's hairstyle is complete. Today is the day Topik’s results come out but many days ago, I and my friends felt like a cat on hot bricks. Today, we counted down the clock until 1 pm in Vietnam which is 3pm in Korea. I had a class in the afternoon, so I had to check my Topik results oh no they didnt at the University. The wifi in my University was so weak that I could not load the Topik website. Maybe there were too many people getting access to check the results, so the website loaded very slowly. I have tried many times, but I couldn’t load the website. It reminded of my university’s website when students have to register for class online. Then after about 45 minutes, I finally managed to load the Topik exam. You can click on this link to check your Topik result. Type your application number in the box “수험번호” and date of birth in the box “생년월일”, then you click the button “성적확인”. I am extremely happy when I know that I pass Topik 4 (Intermediate 2), but at the moment later, I feel a little bit disappointed because I didn’t try my best to do the test. I would have more higher scores if I concentrated and was not stressed due to the time. As you can see from my Topik exam last year in October. I made no progress on Vocabulary/ Grammar and Reading skill. oh no they didnt I was really disappointed at myself. The only progress I have made is the writing and listening skill. After 28th Topik exam, I realized my weakness is the writing and listening skill, so I spent 1 year brushing up on those skills. Until now, I have written over 100 entries of diary to practice Korean. I also watch Korean dramas oh no they didnt a lot to practice listening skill. Writing Korean diary and watching Korean dramas take a lot of time, so I didn’t have time for learning by heart any more vocabulary or reading any Korean articles, and of course I did not have much time to practice speaking skill. I think it is high time to balance all the skills and start a new plan of studying Korean. The Topik exam just reflects a part of your Korean level so that you can enhance your strength and minimize the weakness. If you don’t pass the Topik exam this time, you shouldn’t be too upset. You just need to learn the experience and practice more. I have to take the Topik exam 3 times until I can get Topik 4. I hope that we can continue to learn Korean happily. ^^ Thank you very much ^^ Congratulations on 4급!ヽ( ω- ) You’ve just encouraged me to study better for TOPIK and JLPT I’m taking next year. You studied hard, came up with plans and kept trying. Balancing all the different skills is a true challenge of these tests. It’s easy to miss one and to know when you’re up to par with the test’s oh no they didnt standards. I’m sorry for the late reply. Thank you so much for your comment. It really makes me happy. I’m glad that my blog inspires you to have more motivation to learn Korean. I hope that you will have good results in your Topik and JLPT exams. ^^ Woooow! Congratulations! don’t be disappointed in yourself about your vocabulary/reading scores. I cannot believe that you didn’t make any progress. Such a great improvement in writing and listening oh no they didnt scores shouldn’t be possible oh no they didnt without a great improvement of overall vocabulary too. It just wasn’t reflected as clearly in the specific words and grammatical oh no they didnt patterns you were supposed to know in the vocabulary section. In my view, 쓰기 and 듣기 are the most difficult sections because you have nothing in writing to relate to. In 쓰기 you have to rely on your own memory only, and in 듣기 you have to cope with differences in people’s intonation, speed of the dialogue (whether it’s fast or oddly slow), and possible dialects without having a scrip while trying to rule out answer options. So well done! Hello Koreanlearner, Thank you very much for the comment. I feel very happy and more confident after reading your comment. I’m glad that at least I improve my listening and writing skill. I wish you will have good results in your next Topik exams. ^^ Thank you so much for your comments. Through your blog, I see you study Korean very hard, so I believe that you will get good results in your exams. Especially, I think that you will get great marks in the part Vocabulary and Grammar part. I think that if you practice writing Korean diaries regularly, it can help you do the Writing part in the Topik exam better. ^^ sweetangel Congratulations!!! I like your journal writing idea I’m going to use that as a method to study until the next time I take the Topik, listening amd writing are my weakest points. Those are great scores and a huge improvement from your last test! Any other types you have would be great to know about. I accidentally stumbled upon this blog of yours & I just want to say that your posts are really inspiring I find your love for Korea & its culture genuinely

Home About Discussion topics Finding material harry styles 2013 Books Websites Webtoons Where to buy material Korea around the world harry styles 2013 Korean starter-kit harry styles 2013 Study methods TOPIK Beginner (초급) 쓰기 questions Blank TOPIK answer sheets: 중급 Blank TOPIK answer sheets: 초급 harry styles 2013 Exam day Personal TOPIK scoreboard Studying for TOPIK TOPIK levels harry styles 2013 Today harry styles 2013 I realised that the new layout of the new TOPIK has been published. It’s finally been established that the beginner level will lose the 쓰기 section while intermediate and advanced will be put together into one. That is, levels 3 through 6 will all be tested in the same exam. Honestly, I think it’s a big mistake and here is why. Milestones The TOPIK test in its current harry styles 2013 format provides some nice milestones. harry styles 2013 When you pass the first two levels, you might not be a Korean chatterbox, but you have a piece of paper stating that you have accomplished something, and when read and hear Korean, you can feel that you’ve progressed. You can then work on the intermediate level, and finally move on to the ranks of the Korean language feinschmeckers: advanced level. There is a natural progress from one level to another. In the new system, the beginners no longer have to struggle with the essay question, which might encourage more learners to sign up sooner than they otherwise would have. But boy, will the essay questions catch up with them just one level above. Suddenly test takers harry styles 2013 go from having no essay question at all to being required to write two separate essays about topics ranging harry styles 2013 from IT to environmental concerns and pollution. Quite a leap, don’t you think? Uncertainty: Of course the graders take into account that some learners are intermediate learners so they probably expect these test takers to not be able to answer specific questions in the multiple choice section (they probably know exactly which points will go first) and they know which grammar points will definitely not be used in the essay section. However, I cannot imagine finding myself in an exam, making educated guesses about a potentially large fraction of the answers, just hoping that “those are the advanced questions”. All intermediate learners will sign up for the test being fully aware that even with a solid intermediate level they will not be able to understand all of the exam questions. Normally when you leave an exam, you have a fair idea of what went well and what didn’t. The benchmark is “I understood everything”, which, by default, will no longer be possible for an intermediate learner in the new test format. If they did, they wouldn’t be intermediate learners, but advanced! Financial justifications? I see why there might be a pressure to make the beginner level easier to encourage more students to actually test their Korean ability without the fear of failing. Making them enthusiastic about passing and getting that sense of accomplishment. However harry styles 2013 I do not see the economic wisdom of combining the intermediate exam with the advanced. Do they expect test takers to sit “TOPIK II” four times? Do they expect intermediate learners to pay the fee with the mindset harry styles 2013 “at least I won’t feel as lost when I reach level 4″? Maybe it’s because I’m fairly perfectionist, harry styles 2013 but I won’t feel that it’s a good experience to enter an exam, not knowing if the vocabulary I don’t understand are words that are “okay” not to know at my level. I will postpone my test until I feel confident and not risk finding myself wondering “why are the other test takers turning the page? Why are they turning it???” during the listening test. Until I don’t feel embarrassed and stressed about myself spelling my way through the reading section. Until I feel that I stand a chance of being able to convey how I actually feel about the given essay topic so I don’t have to spend time thinking up a lie that requires much easier vocabulary. I realise that not all learners are as perfectionist as I am. I know that for some people the big jump from beginner to intermediate/advanced will not be a deterrent. However, a lot of people might feel the same as I do. We all study because we care about the language and enjoy when we finally understand the social cues that are embedded in the choice of words and speech level. We sign up for the test because we care about our progress. 6 thoughts on “ Opinion about TOPIK changes ” bluehanbok January 3, 2014 at 2:52 am “In the new system, the beginners no longer have to struggle harry styles 2013 with the essay question, which might encourage more learners to sign up sooner than they otherwise would have. Home About TOPIK INFO TOPIK Overview TOPIK 2014 TOPIK Registration KOREA OTHER COUNTRIES TOPIK Result TOPIK Test Sites Korea Overseas TOPIK BLOG STUDY GUIDE DOWNLOAD PAPERS TOPIK GRAMMAR TOPIK VOCABULARY TOPIK WRITING TOPIK TIPS PREPARATION TIPS EXAM HALL TIPS Classes Contact Recently some major changes were introduced in the overall structure of TOPIK test. We can say they completely overhauled the TOPIK test format. Everything is changed from the TOPIK level structure, sections of the test, number and type of questions nexxus to pass/fail scores. Here in this post I will be guiding you through every change that you need to know about. I am going to put things in very simplified and clear way. The New Changed TOPIK Format will be implemented from the 35th TOPIK, to be held in July, 2014. It means that if you are going to appear in 33rd TOPIK (on 19th Jan, 2014) or 34th test (in April), you don’t need to worry about anything. These test will follow the old format and there will be no change in the paper pattern or anything else. Changes to TOPIK Level Structure: In the old format, we had 3 levels – Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced and every level had 2 sub-levels ranging from 1 to 6. Now in the new format, we still have 6 levels but there is a slight change in the structure. Now, instead of 3 tests we have only 2 which they call TOPIK I (Level 1-2) [한국어능력시험 (1~2급)] & TOPIK II (Level nexxus 3-6) [한국어능력시험 (3~6급)]. Intermediate and Advanced Test is combined now. Changes to Sections of TOPIK test: As we know, in the old format the test had 4 sections – Grammar & Vocabulary, Writing, Listening and Reading. Now they have removed Grammar & Vocabulary, Writing from Level 1 & 2 (i.e. TOPIK I). Now the beginner levels 1 and 2 have just two sections – Reading and Listening . In TOPIK II (Level 3-6), which is the new combined Intermediate-Advanced test, they have kept 3 sections – Reading, Listening and Writing and removed Grammar & Vocabulary. So overall, we can say that the new format is more simplified and easier. Good news for all! Changes to Question Composition, Time and Marks: In the old format we used to have 30 Multiple Choice Questions in Grammar-Vocab, Listening and Reading sections and writing sections had 10 Multiple Choice Questions nexxus and 4-6 Short-answer/essay questions. In the new TOPIK structure, TOPIK I (Level 1-2) has a total of 70 Multiple Choice Questions - Reading (40 Questions) and Listening (30 Questions). TOPIK I has a total of 200 marks and the Test Time is 100 Minutes. nexxus TOPIK II (Level nexxus 3-6) has a total of 104 Questions - Reading (50 Multiple Choice Questions) and Listening (50 Multiple Choice Questions) and Writing (4 Short-answer/Essay Questions). TOPIK II has a total of 300 marks and the Test Time is 180 Minutes. TOPIK II (3-6) – 104 Ques.- Reading(50), Listening(50),Writing (4)- 300 Marks – 180 Min. Changes to Pass-Fail Score Rules: Currently in the old TOPIK structure, you have to get a minimum score of 40 in all 4 sections to get levels 1, 3 or 5 and a minimum of 50 marks in all sections to get levels 2, 4 or 6. It means that if you get 70 percent marks overall but 39 in one section you get Fail. it’s really a good news that now they have abolished this rule. Now they just see your overall score and you get your level and pass/fail on the basis of total score and marks in individual sections have nothing to do with it. Change to frequency of TOPIK Test: Till 2013, TOPIK was held twice a year (April & October) overseas and 4 times a year (January, April, July & October)in Korea. Now they will hold the test 5 times in a year in Korea (January, April, July, October & November). Overseas there will be two tests in a year as before. New Changed TOPIK Exam Structure and Test Timing: Section Questions Time (Minutes) Remarks Beginner (1-2) Listening 30 40 100 1 st Sitting Reading 40 60 Intermediate-Advanced (3-6) Listening 50 60 110 1 st Sitting Writing 4 50 Reading 50 70 70 2 nd Sitting Changes to Writing section in Intermediate-Advanced Level: Now the writing section has just 4 questions – 2 short answer questions where you have to make a sentence and two essay questions. One essay will be related to everyday life topics and will be easier to write while the other essay will be a logical one where you will have t write your opinion on some issue or something like that. How will the decide the levels? What will be the passing score for different Levels? That is a major change nexxus that they have introduced. Now there is no fixed passing score for particular levels (unlike in the old format where we had passing score criteria of 50 & 70 marks). nexxus Now they will disclose the cutoff marks on their website after the test is over and these cutoff marks for different levels will be different every time. I think they are planning to introduce the concept of relative evaluation to TOPIK test. They are very cl

I’ve been studying with TOPIK 33 Advanced Level Listening problems how to do a waterfall braid these last couple of days. (You can download them for free from the usual places ). The speed of speech of the listening problems for TOPIK test is much slower than I expected. Audio files included in my advanced level textbooks are at least 2 times faster. Because it’s slower, I could do shadowing with the problems, and I really enjoy doing it. I’ve been using TOPIK problems to teach myself new words, new grammars, listening practices, and also speaking (shadowing). I think it’s great that it was divided into 3 levels: basic, intermediate, and advanced, so I could work my way up. I’m how to do a waterfall braid aware that it will be divided into only 2 levels, but now that I’m learning advanced level Korean, levels how to do a waterfall braid don’t matter anymore. No matter how they change the test, my workload will not change because I want perfect understanding of the language. But actually how to do a waterfall braid I want the writing section to be optional because honestly I don’t really care about my writing skill. So, whoever in charge, could you please eliminate the requirement to write 2 essays? Haha you wish. Blogroll – Korea Blogroll – China Korean Drama/Movie recommendation remy hair Korean Learning Resources Grammer Lexicon [Sentence Ending Particles] Korean Lexicons Korean Study Material Drama Scripts Korean Book Downloads 자기소개서/ About Me Korean learning log Korean Learning Timeline Privacy Policy Should remy hair have done this a long time ago but problems arise people get busy and I just didn t get round to it hehe ^^ anyway. Lets start. I love Darakwon books ^^ I have used two already and I love the setup of their books they really take everything from a self-study point of view which is not common sometimes, avoiding the class-room like exercises in books (which I hate) is a good point in their books. Another remy hair plus one with Darakwon books is that they always contain an mp3 audio cd which is something we, as self study Korean learners, need in every book we buy for pronunciation and listening purposes its a must have hehe ^^ I am always so happy to listen to the cd that comes with a Darakwon book. It s a load of fun repeating the passages/sentences (this is known as shadowing I think!) I enjoyed reading this section because before this book my knowledge of to TOPIK setup was pretty limited seeing as I cannot take the exam its not something I even bothered to look into often, but, using this book I saw what its actually about. The Explanation section is just that it explains the different types of TOPIK questions and how to solve them using either 1. Logic or 2. Your ability of Korean by saying you solve it using your logic it means your probably don t know the answer but using simple elimination on some of the questions means you will probably nail it hehe. Using your ability means you are pretty damn sure what the answer is no need for any deduction in your mind (: The setup of the explanations is something I took getting used to (and I found it tedious) having to read the question see the answer then look all the way down at the bottom of the page in the blue box to see the explanation. It would have been much nicer if the book had breakdown style explanations instead of that stupid remy hair blue box at the bottom of the page. VOCABULARY. Didn t expect. I didn t expect this book to have any form of vocabulary (was fine with that!) but it did have a load of vocabulary in the Part 1 section of the book where the topik questions are explained in detail. The vocabulary section remy hair was nice a lot of words I personally did not know hehe I was surprised at that and seeing those words aided me in later sections of the book. ^^ one thing I really did like that involved the vocab section was a particular page where there were synonyms and antonyms of the words! that was really remy hair good sometimes it saves the effort of getting remy hair it from naver It was weak. To me considering most people have a 멘봉 while having to write any form of essay in a foreign language it was very disappointing to see that the only advice provided was a generic One should be familiar with the subject in order to write an essay sorry but I know its impossible to give a magic pill and BAM. I can write the perfect essay this was on the weird side. Did though appreciate the sample essay provided in the Questions section it was helpful to understand what the exam committee would be looking for. xD LISTENING SECTION. remy hair Phew. Up until about a week ago I had never attempted remy hair to do the listening section in any topik mock test I had done (half of one in early 2013) so I was very curious to what my listening skills. Was I good. Bad? Somewhere in between needing some work? hehe. And I liked the listening section even though it was beginner [basic] the first questions where really simple and it was fun yet still required my focus but the last 5 questions really pushed the limits. That I liked very much. To me the listening section material they have provided in the book is excellent beyond. INDEX. 대박! The index/pages at the end where without a doubt the best feature in this textbook for me. It was loaded at the back of that book with translations to the listening practice remy hair and Korean-English transcripts which I adore ^^ and its usefulness is proved time and time again. 1.2.3. There is more to it than just some vocab words, examples, and what-not! Its an adequate book with a few tips here and there that may be useful to someone taking the topik needing an extra boost of confidence (however this is to the old topik not the new 2014 one). The explanations although lacking take the top spot in my heart for this book together with the mp3 audio cd. I am someone who needs explanations hehe without them I can miss the whole damn point of something. ;; The explanations in the blue box. This is a pretty long one, longer than all the rest in the book and you can clearly see that the explanations are clear however not very detailed, and also the explanations are provided in both Korean and English. According to the website, t he 33th Topik(January 19, 2014 ) and the 34th Topik (April 20, 2014) still use the current format of Topik. However , the new format of the Topik will be applied since the 35th Topik ( July 20, 2014) In general, I am quite pleased because in the new format of Topik, they eliminate the system “If any of your skills does not exceed the passing scores, you will fail.” In the previous topik exam, no matter how high the average score you have, you still fail if one of your skills do not exceed the passing score. For example, your average score of 4 skills is 51 which is qualified to pass Topik 1, but the score of your writing skill is 30, so you will fail. However, in the new Topik, you won’t have to worry about them any more. However, I’m very worried when they eliminate the Vocabulary/Grammar section which is my favorite parts that always help me to get high scores. Now if I take the topik II(Intermediate-Advanced), I can only take the reading, listening and writing parts. I have just looked through the sample of the new topik part. In the new Topik I (Beginner), they eliminate the writing part. In the new Topik II (Intermediate-Advanced), they even eliminate the multiple choice in the writing part which is also my favorite to help me get high scores. You will have to fill in the blanks with your own words which are the most difficult parts. Then you will have to write 2 ESSAYS and the topics are very difficult. In the previous intermediate topik exam, you only need to write a narrative or descriptive essay such as describing your dream house, your future job, your vacation. However in the new Topik exam, you have to write argumentative essays about some topics. In the sample, you have to write a 200~300- character essay about how to use the Internet well. I’m quite shocked because the essay they require is too short. Related Posted in 0Korean Learning Journey , 2Exam , TOPIK | Tagged Korea , Korean , Topik Oh dear oh dear… I’m not quite at the level where I can write anything about pollution or stuff like that. Either I need to make a quantum leap over the next 10 months or I need to postpone my “intermediate/advanced” TOPIK adventure to avoid total embarrassment. As a starting point I will aim for the quantum leap, but I will need to think carefully about my ability blue hair when we reach the sign-up period. Hello koreanlearner, Thank you very much for your comments. I think writing is the most scary section in the Topik. In the old Topik format, we can easily practice by writing essays blue hair with the subject repeated many times. However, with the new topik, we have to prepare more vocabularies in social skill. I agree with you about the big leap between Topik I and Topik II. They say that they want to make the Beginner topik exam easier to encourage more people taking the exam. However, in fact, the beginner certificate is not much valuable. If you want to work in Korean company or study abroad, you will need at least Topik 3. I always hope there will be a easier system for the intermediate Topik. Well then… Looks like I’ll be postponing taking TOPIK. XD I can’t write a good essay in another language on something like pollution. That’s a leap from writing about every day things. I’m guessing they’re going to grade the essays on how strong your arguments and examples are as well. In English? I got all the terms for ya. Korean? Hahahaha… ha… ha… >.> I’m still confused about the whole “intermediate/advanced” thing. Is the certificate going to say, “You have passed intermediate/advanced?” That seems so weird. blue hair Maybe the score on Topik II will determine if they categorize you as intermediate or advanced (i.e. just passing = int. high scores= blue hair adv.). I’m still against the grouping of levels blue hair 3-6 like that. But even that is weird. There surely must be a lower boundary for when once can call oneself “intermediate” or advanced? What if one’s score in an area genuinely is too low for one’s ability to live up to the description of a level 3, are they then going to award a level 2 based on a test that doesn’t even include that level or will test takers either way get away with a level 3? I need to start spelling my way through these documents for some pointers about their future grading… I agree. It’s making a lot of things complicated. I still can’t wrap my head around it fully. They said they did it to make things simpler, but they went far from it. It’s like saying you’re either basic or advanced (but not really advanced because we’re gonna mix intermediate blue hair in there). I mean, we as language learners should never get too focused on what level we are, but if I’m taking a test for it, I’d like to know. Hello, darkfire382

I wanted to prepare for the reading part more but I only managed to go through a couple of papers. flat iron I know I need to work hard on the writing part, but I ended up not practicing for it at all. On my way to KCC I wondered flat iron what could be the question for the essay part. I was not in my best days that time and have been regretting some wrong decisions I’ve made and feeling bad and hating flat iron myself for losing grasps on my dreams and letting it disappear in front of me. Ha! What if fate would like to throw a joke on me and make the essay question something like… “ What is that one thing you’ve wanted to do but wasn’t able to? Why weren’t you able to do it? “ I’ve isolated myself from a lot of people then and was truly anxious entering the exam room because I know no one. I’ve heard some of my friends submitted an application but I’m not sure if they are coming. While looking for my seat, I saw Alli from Bluehanbok . I was so SO happy seeing her. As what she’ve mentioned, we haven’t seen each other for a long time. At least we’re able to catch up with each other even if it’s only the time in between the exam. When the first part of the exam was given, I immediately checked the essay question before anything else so that I can think of what to write while going over the Vocabulary and the Writing part. I skipped items I was unsure of. Even if I was only torn between 2 answers, I skipped them. I said I’ll just go back later on and give my wildest guess if I still won’t be able to figure it out. I skipped one item after another. Then I started writing my essay. Apparently, I enjoyed writing the essay so much since it was something I was currently contemplating on. I was surprised with myself as well because as far as I can remember, it was a struggle for me composing flat iron my essay last time I took the exam but I was more comfortable writing this time. I wrote, wrote and wrote continously, sponteaneously. I finished writing my essay at the nick of time. I managed to finish the last sentence I wanted flat iron to write before the protors asked us to put our pens down. Reading was still a struggle. It was not as difficult as before but I still need time (loads of it) to be able to understand the longer paragraphs. And that’s something we didn’t have then – time. There’s was an interesting item though. Most of the items were either declaratives or narrations – news, stories, etc. But there was one item when it was more of conversational. It was a story but instead of being narrated, what the characters said were simply enclosed in quotation marks. And I was able to easily understand it. I realized then that my Korean is just still very conversational. Can carry conversations, yes. But reading long narratives and news, no. I’m happy with my Listening. flat iron I only got 41 last time and now it almost doubled. I’m also glad I got more than 50% for reading flat iron now. I could’ve gotten more than 50% for the Vocabulary section if I was only able to go back to all the items I skipped. For Writing, I don’t know. I know I suck in grammar usage still. I also really cannot answer the fill in the blanks flat iron part. It also seems like the Writing part was the most difficult for this exam. I have a number of friends who were really good but got a really low score as well for the Writing part. Here’s my score during the 28th TOPIK held last 2012: I’ve registered for the upcoming 34th TOPIK exam this coming April 20th and I’m pretty excited! flat iron I believe it will be the last exam following the old format. I’m aiming to get a Level 4, but I’d already be really happy if I can get a Level 3. Reply Dia. Filipino. Kim Sun Ah fan. 복학생. Linguistics student. English flat iron tutor. According to this new timetable, I think that it will become more difficult for time management. In the old topik format, in the first period, I often make use of time by doing the vocabulary/grammar and 10 multiple choices of the writing part in 20 minutes, which means I have 70 minutes left for the short answers and the essay. In the second period, during the listening part, the recording plays twice and there is a short break between each question, so I make use of those time by doing the multiple choice of the reading part. However, now I cannot make use of time like that any more. In the first period of the new topik exam, we have to do listening and writing in 110 minutes. I cannot make use the short break between each listening questions to write. And in the 2nd period, I have 70 minutes for 50 reading questions. short hairstyles =.= For the sake of people who don’t have much experience in learning Korean, we make the Topik I(Beginner) easy to reduce their burden. For the sake of people short hairstyles who continue to learn Korean , we make the Topik II which combines Intermediate and Advanced level to foster their ability and also to evalute their Korean proficiency. Secondly, we also solve some problems such as examination subjects, type of questions, failing system. With the main aims to evaluate the communication skill, the writing section together with other indirect methods will test the ablitiy to write essays directly. Answer: The Topik exam aims to test your communication skill of Korean. To evaluate those skills, short hairstyles we need to evaluate speaking, listening, reading and writing skill, but evaluating skill has some limitations, so we only test the listening, reading and writing skill. Answer: There are 4 writing short hairstyles questions in the Topik II (Intermediate- Advanced). The first and second questions require the sentences that match the flow of the text. The third and fourth short hairstyles questions require two essays related to social life or critical thinking. Answer : After setting the questions for the new Topik exams, we will set the criteria for passing each level. In the new Topik, maybe the minimum passing short hairstyles score for TOPIK I (Beginner) will be 100 out of 200 and for TOPIK II (Intermediate- Advanced) will be 120 out of 300. Like short hairstyles this: So basically, if you’re new to Korean, “Oh come, come we have an easy test to encourage you to study Korean,” but if you’re in it for the long run, “Oh, you’re actually serious. Okay men, bring out the heavy artillery!” If the questions themselves are slightly easier, then maybe we’ll be able to manage our time well, but if not, we’ll have to become time lords, be strong in writing essays on critical thinking and society, and prepare a hefty side order of speaking skills… Okay, we got this! /runs/ short hairstyles ゚゚(つД ) ゚ January 9, 2014 at 7:44 am Did you use TOPIK 빈도별 문법 book to prepare for TOPIK? What do you think of it compare to Korean Grammar in Use or Korean Grammar Practice for Foreigners? Maybe someday you’ll have time to blog a review? short hairstyles Thank you. ^^ I use the TOPIK 빈도별 문법 book too. I just use that book to review the grammar points after studying “Topik grammar 150″. I don’t like “빈도별 문법 ” very much. First, it is written totally in Korean. Secondly, I don’t like the way they arrange the grammar points according to the frequency of appearing short hairstyles in the Topik test. I prefer grouping the grammar points according to the same usage and knowing how to distinguish the grammar points that have nearly the same usage. Somehow making the beginner TOPIK easier is not something I actually ‘appreciate’ hehe I want the burden to make me work harder and achieve more! XD but I guess maybe the Intermediate-Advanced will be the one that is best to take if you are in it for the long hall ^^ I am seriously glad they will think about adding a speaking skill. That is wonderful. And thanks for taking the time to post this Thank you for your comment. I think they just want to attract more people into studying Korean and challenge the intermediate-advanced level, but I don’t agree when they eliminate the vocabulary-grammar part ← OFFICIAL CHANGES OF TOPIK 2014 Language Lover ^^ I m a Vietnamese SONE. <3 My major is English Linguistics and Literature.
